Freaky Alien Encounter while camping

It was a last minute camping trip to Delamar in the desert of Nevada a abandoned ghost mining town. It was late at night close to 12:00 am and the moon was shining bright when we all were exploring close to our campsite. Me and another person from our group were looking around this building that was made of stone and falling apart we both got this strange feeling that made the hair on our backs and arms stand up and behind us had to of been at least 15 - 20 feet away an Alien humanoid being was sitting legs crossed hands on its knees. This Alien was staring at us clearly visible to the both of us we just stared at it for maybe 15 seconds. This Alien thing made no movement just kept staring it had grey skin with made eyes no hair no other distinct features other that that. We didn't linger and ran away to inform the rest of our group we were camping with. they split us apart to get and we explained what it looked like and everything we gave the same answer and we regrouped and went to investigate but nothing was there when we returned.
